How To Play Bakugan

The Bakugan battle brawler game is a strategic card game developed by renowned entertainment companies Sega Toys and Spin Master. They released this game alongside the popular anime series of Bakugan battle brawlers. This game was launched in early 2008. It has become one of the most popular trading card games in the history of TCG industry.

The reason behind its popularity is the concept. Well, it’s not much different from the other trading card games such as Pokémon, but Bakugan has a thrilling factor involved in it and that is the spring-loaded miniatures, marbles or Bakugans; call it by any name but these are in fact the things that have made the game so popular among kids.

You can learn how to play Bakugan from the instructions given on the game package or you can learn it from a neighbor’s kid who already has a Bakugan game. Once you know how to play this exciting game, you are sure to be addicted to it. The best part is that you can play them exactly like the main characters of the anime series.

Let’s see how to play Bakugan in five simple steps:

1. The players have to place their metallic card face down on the battle arena (card table). Now they have to roll their Bakugan or marble on the cards. They keep rolling until any two opponent Bakugan morph into creatures and battle. The magnetic spring-loaded marble or Bakugan open up once they are rolled on the metallic card.

2. Now the opened Bakugan shows a value on its sphere. This value is called the G-Power of the Bakugan. Now this G-Power is added to the value of their respective cards. For instance, the Bakugan has 250 G-Power and the card has 100 G-Power so the player who owns the Bakugan and the card gets 350 G-Power.

3. The player with the highest G-Power wins the battle and takes over the opponent Bakugan and card. Now the winner rolls the next Bakugan.

4. The game continues until all the cards are captured or taken over. Now the players count the total Holo Sector Points or HSP marked on each card they have. Now this total needs to be added to the captured and the not-played Bakugans which are equivalent to 100 HSP each. The player also has to count the HSP of marbles which did not hit the card but still opened. The player with maximum HSP wins the battle.

5. If a player manages to stand two marbles or Bakugan on one card then they automatically get the card. In case of a tie, the players get to keep the Bakugan but the cards are removed from the play

Now that you know how to play Bakugan, get ready with your set and strive to be the best Bakugan battle brawler ever!
