Normally you can use only one Bakugan trap while playing the game but if it’s a big arena or game you are allowed two Bakugan traps. One thing you have to remember while playing a Bakugan trap is that its attributes must be the same as the Bakugan that you want to play it with. Then you just place it on the metallic gate card. When it opens, it can change the course of the game. If it reveals an attribute then you would have to change the attribute of the Bakugan you used with the Bakugan trap to the attribute that it revealed.
A Bakugan trap can also reveal more than one attribute at the same time. In such case, you need to choose one attribute and assign it to the used Bakugan. Apart from attribute/s, it could also reveal G-Power. If it does, then you add that G-Power to your total points. After using the trap Bakugan, it goes to the used Bakugan pile. It can be reused or moved to the unused pile once you are out of Bakugans to use in the game.
There are many Bakugan traps from different versions. Some of the popular traps are Zoack, Carlsnaut, Pythantus, Tripod Epsilon, Scorpion and Dart Draganoid.
